Sweetgrass and Cedar are two of the main plants used by Native people along with Sage and Tobacco.
Sweetgrass is the sacred hair of a prayer or ceremony for smudging and purification of the spirit. Cedar, a resinous aromatic tree is also used for cleansing rituals and healing rites.
